Alistar Grant, Chancellor​​

Chancellor Grant begins his political career as Senator Grant, King and representative of the planet Thalen. Though his path crosses on multiple occasions with the heroes, he becomes disheartened by the fact that the Republic will not openly aid the people of Thalen in their civil war with the neighboring planet Altayen. Driven to the brink of desperation as loss after loss is incurred, Grant makes a deal with the GenoHaradan to assassinate the billionaire philanthropist Calvin O'taya while the heroes are present so that he can seize their fortune on behalf of the Republic and fund his run for Chancellor. When the Jedi Council arrests Archer Merchant for the crime, he begins to panic, unable to convince the Council that it is a mistake. Much to his surprise, however, he finds Archer, King, and Thrillkiss willing to keep his secret. While they do not agree with his means, Archer asks for only one thing, to serve as his liaison in the Jedi Order. Grant agrees, and is soon elected Chancellor. Though he has since resolved the civil war in his home system, he often lets his pride get the better of him; a flaw that has not gone unnoticed.​ He has particularly become obsessed with destroying Rakatan bio-mechanical data that the Sith recovered, fearing the rammifications of such technology in their hands. Though he does little to hide his contempt for Jorik, he finds that he cannot prevent his daughter from following her heart, especially given the fact that he discovers their relationship after she can no longer hide that she is pregnant. He has openly declared war on the Sith, going so far as to research cloaking technology for fast attack strike frigates capable of heavy orbital bombardment. Feeding his vanity as Chancellor, and against the protests of Captain Vorn, he elects to test the Terminus on a facility orbiting a Sith holy world in an attempt to send a message. In response, Darth Drahk bides his time before severely devastating the capitol of Thalen with an orbital strike of his own to send a message. Unwilling to admit defeat, he vows to have his revenge against Darth Drahk and win the war, whatever the cost.
Captain Angela Vorn​
​​​Captain Angela Vorn is a loyal officer in the Republic Navy. She is first encountered by the heroes when her frigate comes under Imperial attack in Ilum space. Her distress signal is picked up by Vigik, who then convinces Archer to alter course and rescue her and her crew. She is particularly impressed with Archer's piloting skills, and has recently gained command of Chancellor Grant's new pet project, the stealth frigate Terminus. She is nearly killed when the Terminus inadvertantly unleashes the Mnggal-Mnggal entity during an assault on an isolated Sith Research facility, where she became infected with one of its parasitic seeds. Only through quick work and skilled medical treatment are Archer and Thrillkiss able to purge the creature from her body. Though she has often thought of herself as a career woman, she has found an increasily growing weakness in Archer, whom she allows to escape in clear defiance of Chancellor Grant's orders. Though she is severely reprimanded, she is allowed to keep her command and she eagerly volunteers to serve as escort for the heroes to infiltraite Korriban in an attempt to stop Darth Drahk shortly after.
