Droid NPC's

RX-M4 (Rex)

RX-M4, or Rex, is a utility droid that Prello the Hutt had heavily modified to aid Jana in tracing the ancient signal she is receiving so that they can better search for Rakatan technology. It is rescued by Archer and the heroes after being abducted by Corbin Des, a mole that infiltrates Prello's inner circle, and has chosen to serve Archer and Jana ever since.

HK-48

HK-48 is an ancient assassin droid stolen from the collection of Calvin O'taya so that the heroes can gain access to Czerka Headquarters. Given the level of its master's technical skill, it is easily repaired and currently serves Thrillkiss, who has taken great care to modify its processor further.

Alma, Bio-Replicant

Alma is another bio-replicant, often referring to herself as Jana's 'sister' in an attempt to antagonize her further. She is created by the scientist Kayla Tan when Czerka Corporation finds one of the ancient Rakatan pods in the ruins of a ship on the seafloor of the planet Maramere. However, unlike Jana, she embraces her programming, teaching the scientists how to input the DNA of hostile creatures such as the Rakghoul and Shyracks so that they can duplicate them. She then takes steps to sabotage the facility, letting the creatures loose and causing all but Kayla to be killed in the process. She proves patient and methodical, waiting in the icy waters on the seafloor until another ship arrives before she breaks into it in an attempt to steal it. It is in that vessel that she finds and tries to recruit Jana, though, when her 'sister' refuses, Alma slams their head into the nearest bulkhead repeatedly before fleeing in one of the escape pods to the surface when the heroes return to the ship. She is next encountered when she arranges for the Sith to pick her up in exchange for finding another replicator pod on Korriban so that she might show them how to use it, but the heroes find her and put a stop to it just in time. The overwhelming sense of fear that she feels as she cowers in fear as Thrillkiss tries to kill her causes something to trigger, and she has since achieved true sentience, offering to aid the heroes mostly out of self-preservation. Though she won't admit it, the more time she spends with Jana, the more she begins to see her value, as well as what her 'sister' sees in Archer. Alma urges the heroes to reconsider destroying the smaller Star Forge linked to the bio-replicants, but Jana insists that they destroy it. With the signal finally severed, she resists the system override urging her to shut down, though Jana is not so lucky. Both Alma and Archer vow in Jana's final moments before her systems are overridden that they will find a way to restore her once more.

Jana, Bio-Replicant

Jana is a highly advanced bio-replicant, an unthinkable mixture of cybernetics and organic components that have effectively created a living droid. She is created when Archer's connection to the Force inadvertently triggers a damaged Rakatan artifact, an ancient replication pod, while the heroes are trying to recover Prello's cargo recently hijacked by the Blazing Claw pirates. As a result, she imprints with him, and often looks to him for guidance. With the aid of Thrillkiss' technical prowess Archer proves highly successful in helping her to modify her programming, her advanced processor allowing her to achieve true sentience. With no memory of her primary objectives, however, she sets about with the heroes to follow a Rakatan signal that is being mysteriously broadcast to her. It is at the ancient research facility at the end of the signal that the heroes discover the purpose of the Rakatan devices: to create copies of any given species and infiltrate that alien society to destroy it from within. Since learning this, Jana has overridden her original orders of her own free will, instead vowing to find a way to destroy the pods once and for all. Her only rival, however, is her 'sister' Alma, another bio-replicant that opts to join the heroes in the face of enusing death. They are often at odds with each other, given their conflicting personalities, and their identical interest in Archer. Unfortunately, though Alma protests and tries to convince the heroes of the risk, shortly after Jana ignores her pleas and deliberately helps them destroy the smaller Star Forge networked to all bio-replicants, her consciousness is unable to resist shutting down with the signal severed. Archer and Alma both vow to her to find a way to restore her systems before she permanently slips into stasis. With the aid of Rhonin and the Rakatan data recovered during the final incursion of Korriban, she is revived. Though her memory is unable to be completely restored due to the damage suffered, the imprint with Archer remains, and she chooses to remain at his side.

HK-53

HK-53 is a droid that Thrillkiss created over numerous hours with various scavenged parts from other HK droids that they have encountered, and subsequently destroyed. He has lessened the assassination protocols in favor of programming it as a family bodyguard for Syla and their son, Karl. Though its main body is destroyed by Darth Drahk while trying to defend Syla, she and Thrillkiss are able to salvage its main processor in the rubble of her estate and have since rebuilt the droid.

Mark One / Mark Two

Mark One and Mark Two are twin models of security droids that Jorik purchases to serve as crew members on his vessel, the Corellian Tear. They are combat ready, and are also programmed to serve as pilots, gunners, and mechanics should the need arise. Jorik finds reason to reprogram their protocols shortly after King tricks them into launching the Corellian Tear without Jorik onboard during an evacuation.

TX-30 (Tex)

TX-30, or Tex as Archer likes to call him much to the droid's annoyance, is Prello's personal administrative droid. Fluent in many forms of communication, Prello personally oversaw the building of the droid from the ground up so that it can function in nearly every aspect of negotiation imaginable. It serves its purpose well, though some have come to notice that it often has a straight to the point mentality when dealing with open negotiations, a trait that sometimes hinders in underworld dealings.
