Prello the Hutt

An oddity among her people, Prello cares about her employees. More than that, she is good at finding objects of value and bartering them for a solid profit. However, after repeated refusals to allow her business to be absorbed by Jorba the Hutt, the rival takes matters into his own hands and begins to systematically sabotage her dealings, one by one. It is only with the aid of the heroes that her business finally stabilizes and she is able to expand once more. Her compassionate nature has even led her to fund the search for the Rakatan replication technology, at great expense to her small organization.
She has kept in contact with the heroes throughout their journeys, coming to view them as an extend family of sorts, and ensures a discount for Thrillkiss when he purchases numerous security devices to upgrade Syla's estate.

Jorba the Hutt

Jorba is what most have come to expect from a Hutt; greedy, sleazy, and antagonistic. For all his faults, however, he is a very good information broker, making sure to have his agents in the right places at the right times. Seeking to transition into the black market, he attempts to take control of a smaller organization run by Prello. He mistakenly assumes that he can simply buyout Prello, and, once refused, opts for a new tactic. He begins to sabotage her dealings one by one, employing the Blazing Claw pirates to hijack shipments and even goes so far as to place spies in Prello's consortium to ensure success. When he realizes that he can't buy the heroes who have been keeping her business afloat, he simply tries to have them killed under the guise of a friendly invitation to his palace. Unfortunately for him this proves to be his downfall, as the heroes return in the future and put an end to his reign once and for all.

The heroes first encounter her on Nar Shaddaa, where she is serving as a spotter for Jorba the Hutt at Prello's martial arts tournament in the Hutt's Tale casino. She is supposed to allow Jorba to keep tabs on his sabotage efforts, but she instead allows herself to be distracted when she becomes enthralled by Thrillkiss and his combat skill. As a result, she spends most of her time with the former soldier instead. It is later discovered by the group, when she teams up to rescue Alistar Grant's daughter after Jorik's Master is killed, that she is a bounty hunter. When Jorba the Hutt attempts to kill the heroes under the guise of a friendly meeting, Syla rescues an unconscious Thrillkiss by attaching an explosive charge to the Hutt, securing enough time for both her and the heroes to escape. She has recently given birth to Thrillkiss' child, Karl, and has returned to her home planet of Zeltros to keep a low profile. As a result, Thrillkiss takes some time to visit her and their son, spending a small fortune to upgrade the security of her estate, as well as leaving a second HK that he built from scrap parts to protect the two. Unfortunately, a methodical Darth Drahk seeks her out, using her as bait for the heroes after they capture his apprentice. Though they are able to rescue her in time, the trap results in her family estate being completely destroyed, though she still manages to salvage the damaged processor of HK-52 shortly after so that her husband can repair it.

When the heroes return months later for revenge, the heroic duo fights even harder and manages to beat Kolsin, but in the ensuing chaos when Jorba the Hutt is killed, Kolsin manages to escape. It is sometime later that Kolsin closes in to take revenge, taking Chancellor Grant's daughter Calina hostage on Nar Shaddaa and forcing Archer and Thrillkiss to fight him in a duel to the death. Though he easily beats Archer to an unconscious stupor, Thrillkiss manages to hold off Kolsin long enough for Archer to regain consciousness several minutes later, and the two defeat him. With Thrillkiss standing over an unconscious Kolsin, the soldier leans in, wraps his arms around the Weequay's neck, and snaps it in two to kill him once and for all.

Significantly overwhelmed, the heroes and the Mandalorians are forced to work side by side in an effort to destroy the infestation. Since then, Stev has aided Prello the Hutt and the heroes on multiple occasions, including in the destruction of an entire GenoHaradan assassination cell, and has risen in the Mandalorian ranks since the heroes helped him acquire a functional Basilisk War Droid. He has also come under suspicion by the Jedi Order, after raining supressing fire in the very halls of the Corellian Jedi Enclave so that Archer and Trina could escape, though it is at the personal request of Chancellor Grant himself who officially pardons him. He later contacts the heroes when the Mandalorians take a contract out on their lives, issuing a challenge on their behalf that allows Thrillkiss to become the new Mandalore. Stev eagerly swears his life to him, knowing no other man of equal skill.

At his request she travels to Zeltros with Syla, where they live in one of her estates. When ambushed in Jorba the Hutt's palace, Thrillkiss catches a brief glimpse of the masked assassin watching from afar before losing consciousness during the duel with Kolsin. It is the third encounter that proves the most memorable, the masked assassin infiltraiting a Republic outpost on Ilum to kill a traitor the heroes are to transport who has been selling information to Jorba. Though he is shot repeatedly by the troopers in the garrison after severely wounding the traitor, Thrillkiss and Zadok manage to stabilize the masked assassin and they take both into custody. When interrogation proves futile, the cybernetic implants throughout his body preventing Jorik from reading his surface thoughts, he is turned over to the custody of the Senate. However, it is at this point that Trina launched a surprise attack on the very steps of the Senate building, seemingly killing the assassin with the Force to tie up loose ends for Jorba. When Thrillkiss removes the damaged mask, much to his shock he finds the assassin is Jahk. Secretly, Jahk survives, his body containing several emergency life support devices that allow him to enter stasis before reviving him sometime later, allowing him to escape Republic holding. As thanks for their work, Chancellor Grant funds a project for the ex-Czerka scientists Molly Roro and Kayla Tan to aid Jahk after Thrillkiss risks his life to rescue him from the Sith, and they have since used the bio-replicant data recovered from the Lehon system to purge his assassination protocols and replace most of his old cybernetic implants with organic versions to give him a more human appearance, though the procedure nearly kills him. When Darth Drahk attacks Syla's family estate, it is Jahk who risks his life by leading King's family to safety while carrying Thrillkiss' child, Syla choosing to remain behind to buy them more time.

Once the smoke has cleared, she explains to Archer what had happened, how she wasn't a very good assassin, and that she simply needs a job. When Archer offers to talk to Prello about getting her employment, she is taken by his generosity and invites him to her quarters to discuss the matter in private. Since meeting, Archer has left her in charge of the day to day operations for their palace on Tatooine.

Orzo, Casino Manager

Orzo is one of Prello's most trusted lieutenants, a charismatic Falleen with a taste for luxurious clothing that is selected to oversee the day to day operations of her casino, The Hutt's Tale. When the heroes first meet him it is for the martial arts tournament that Jorba seeks to sabotage, and he barely escapes with his life. However, for the most part, the tournament is successful, and the casino only grows in popularity under his guidance. When they next encounter him again some months later, however, the attempts on his life have taken their toll, and he tries to betray Prello by orchestrating a plot to rob his own casino of the valuable gems that are being held in the vault. When Archer discovers this by slicing the security logs, Orzo attempts to kill him. When cornered, he primes two frag grenades and takes his own life in the ensuing explosion.

Kel, Smuggler

Kel is a Corellian pilot contracted by Prello to oversee the transport of some of her more questionable items. Facing imprisonment when he and his co-pilot Seel were boarded by the Republic while carrying what he thought were medical crates that were actually filled with spice, the charges disappeared with a little aid from Prello who saw the value in an indebted smuggler with a conscience. He still enjoys a policy of no questions asked on the off chance that they get boarded again, though that has become a very rare occurance for him.

Seel, Smuggler

Seel was a Twi'lek slave until a Corellian smuggler by the name of Kel decided to purchase the young boy and take him under his wing. He is a skilled mechanic and tech specialist, and chose to remain by Kel's side after Prello saved them from imprisonment after they ran into a little trouble involving crates filled with spice that they originally believed to be medical supplies.

Vlaz, Security Guard

Vlaz is a former gladiator that was saved by the Wookie Rah when his drink was poisoned before a match that would have been to the death had it not been interrupted. Despite the animosity between their cultures, the two have come to view each other with mutual respect, and he volunteers to serve Prello at the palace on Tatooine when Rah is stationed there.

Rah, Security Specialist

Rah is purchased by Prello after she witnesses the harsh treatment he endures at the hands of a fellow Hutt. When Rah recognizes that she purchases him for his protection, he swears a life debt to her immediately. While visiting Nal Hutta, Rah witnesses a the Trandoshan gladiator Vlaz secretly being poisoned by his owner before a fight to the death and, though their cultures are often sworn enemies, he intervenes with an account of what he saw, possibly saving the Trandoshan's life. At Prello's request, Rah serves as the chief of security at the Tatooine palace.

With the growing cost of medical supplies after a discharge from the Republic Navy for a crime he didn't commit, he wandered the alleys of Nar Shaddaa in the hopes of finding someone in need of his skills. By chance he comes to the notice of Prello after he beats the Corellian Kel in a swoop race, and the Hutt hires him immediately.

Mnggal-Mnggal, Ancient Parasitic Entity

Mnggal-Mnggal is an ancient parasitic entity that is nothing more than a black ooze in its natural form that survives by infecting and feeding on hosts until they are nothing more than empty husks it inhabits. Most disturbing, though, is the fact that it can still imitate the host for some time after death in a zombie state, manipulating the husk as though it were still alive, though the longer it does the less convincing it is due to the decay of the flesh. It is sentient, and seems connected via a hive mind to all other forms of itself, no matter how far away. First encountered in Darth Drahk's private Research Outpost, the heroes are never convinced of its intentions and often seek to kill it, whether by blowing it out an airlock or burning it alive. It often promises the ancient knowledge it has in exchange for freedom, though whether it actually knows about the ancient Celestials and their lost vaults remains to be seen. It is possible, however, given its ability to go dormant for long periods of time until disturbed that it is telling the truth.
