KORLANDIA: A DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS 3.5 CAMPAIGN
Jagged Mountain Locations

The Dwarven fortress built into the base of the Jagged Mountains serves as the only known entrance from Korlandia to the Underworld. It is comprised of an immense cavern with catwalks and buildings of stone reigning hundreds of feet above, and two immense mithral doors controlled by massive gears that can only be operated from inside the fortress which leads to the highway beyond.

The Dwarven capitol Khaldor rests beneath the Jagged Mountains, a massive city in the center of an open chamber surrounded by large stone walls hundreds of feet tall that are said to be nigh impenetrable. It has four immense stone bridges that lead to the mithral gates from the paved trade highways of the Underworld, one standing tall on each side of the city. At the epicenter, and surrounded by a moat filled with lava, is the home of the King, an extravagant castle crafted entirely out of gold.

A winding stone path three days north of Khaldor that took decades to carve, wrapping around the combined base of a stalagmite to the peak of a stalactite that have both been unified into a single, massive piece of rock. Resting at the top of the days long journey are massive mithral doors disguised by expert craftsmanship to resemble the mountainous surroundings of the Jagged Mountain peaks. The path is the only known way to reach the top of the mountains from the Underworld.
